Gingerbreadni 30th Anniversary
Gingerbread have been working in partnership with Marks and Spencer to deliver
Marks and Start Programme in the Belfast area since 2005.
Due to the success of this programme Gingerbread NI will be offering the programme in the Northwest area. This programme aims to help lone parents make an informed decision about whether returning to work is right for them. It also prepares parents for the world of work and refers thenm to jobs and/or training opputunities.
The programme consists of a three day work preparation training course in marks and Spencer, tailored specifically for parents. Areas covered include:
- Developing Confidence
- Employability Skills
- Communication skills and how to ensure work life balance.
- Induction training with Marks and Spencer.
